Hello
Hi, I’m Bianca — a financial strategist who has served in Chief Financial Officer roles and now provides fractional CFO support to growing businesses. With a Master’s degree in Accounting and years of experience in city government finance, I bring seasoned financial leadership, clear insight, and steady guidance to help business owners make confident decisions.
My Story
For more than a decade, I worked in city government finance, serving in Chief Financial Officer roles where I partnered closely with department directors and city leadership to plan for growth and long-term sustainability. Cities don’t have the luxury of unlimited revenue—every initiative must be weighed against constrained resources, competing priorities, and public accountability. That environment shaped how I think about money, strategy, and leadership.

As CFO and Director of Finance, I helped departments plan and operate within tight budgets while still supporting development and community growth. That meant building realistic forecasts, identifying opportunities to optimize systems, reduce unnecessary costs, and allocate resources where they created the greatest impact. In many cases, it also meant helping leadership find new or improved revenue streams—without compromising service or integrity.

Alongside this work, I earned my Master’s degree in Accounting from Dallas Baptist University, which strengthened my ability to design and evaluate financial systems with both precision and practicality. I also obtained the credential of a Certified Government Finance Officer. But the most meaningful part of my work was always the conversations—helping leaders understand their numbers, anticipate challenges, and make confident decisions in the face of uncertainty.

That same approach became personal when I began helping my mom, who runs a floral arrangement business. By clarifying her financial picture and improving how she tracked job costs and profitability, we reduced uncertainty and gave her more control over her business. Seeing how financial clarity changed the way she made decisions showed me that the challenges leaders face—whether in city government or service-based business—are often more alike than they appear.

When I founded The Anchored Ledger, my goal was to bring that same level of experienced financial leadership to business owners who are growing but operating within real constraints. To support this work, I became a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and earned additional certifications—not as the focus, but as tools that support strong systems, reliable data, and forward-looking analysis.

Today, I serve as a fractional CFO, helping business owners plan for growth, navigate limited resources, improve cash flow, and make decisions with clarity instead of guesswork. I help clients optimize their financial systems, identify opportunities to increase revenue, control costs, and build businesses that are both profitable and sustainable.

Why do I do this? Because I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when leaders have clear financial insight—especially when resources are limited and the stakes are high. My mission is to provide steady guidance, practical strategy, and a trusted financial perspective so business owners can grow with intention.

At The Anchored Ledger, the numbers aren’t just reports. They’re the foundation for smart growth, sound decisions, and lasting stability.
